I agre wit h the taste is learned thing, years back 1970s I was in my teens eat allot of crap sugury and pops, I stopped it took a while biut I totally stopped and he cravings faded to the point where thjey were gone and on the rare occation when I would drink pop or eat something tha thad added sugar it was always way t osweet, , decades later I started a job which had a stuipid candy machine and it al lstarted when I forgot myu lunch and so I bought something fro mthe machine then over a time of say 4 yrs it became a habit which at this time i am breaking again, I havent added sugar to anything like myu coffee Ido cheat a little and and in a slight amount of condensed milk just t ochange the colour but I only have one mug in the morning Iused to drink alloft of tea which condensed milk and sugar ( 1970s) but whne I stopped all sugar the tea didnt taste so good , I do grind up ginger and put that in a tea ball and drink a pop of that from my tea pot . but now I need to brake this gdam eating from the machine and start doing whatI used to eat wha tis in season and can be gorwn locally I know this is going to be tough but hey I love challenges plus since its winter and I dont want to be running on icy slippery roads this should keep me busy paying more attention of whatI am using a fuel lol
the one hug ething I have noticed and I am not sur eif it is my age or not is that the fresh foods dont taste like they used to carrots used to taste sweet but they dont anymore, the squashes at least when I could find them where ok but much of the opther vegis dont have that taste any more

I gave up chocolate after eating a whole bar of 85% cocoa chocolate. I meant to have just 2 pieces. I drink cocoa instead with no sugar or milk. You get all the nutrients; it doesn’t taste so nice so one cup is enough.

Think about it, we need to feed millions of people, the mass produced animals live mostly in their own waste. Go visit a pasture raised farm, still nasty although better than the alternative grown in cages. We are in a tough spot, just do your best, which I think is the theme here.
